Heartfelt Plea: Widowed Mother Seeks Help in Finding Missing Son, Jonathon Jones
SAN ANTONIO — The search intensifies for 31-year-old Jonathon Jones, the beloved son of Christa Jones, who has been missing since June 14. Jonathon was last seen on the 2000 block of I-35 North. Standing 6’3″ tall and weighing 150 pounds, Jonathon has brown eyes, black hair, and a distinctive tattoo of a crown above his right eye.
Christa Jones, has been a dedicated member of the Lejeune Empowered Advocacy for Widows (LEAWS) and the Toxic Water Widows Facebook group, which helps widows whose husband’s were poisoned whilst they served on Marine Base Camp Lejeune. The death of her husband due to toxic water exposure at Camp Lejeune has had a profound impact on the family, especially on Jonathon. Despite these hardships, Christa has remained resolute, raising her sons and hoping one day for justice for her husband.
Now, as she faces the heart-wrenching search for her missing son, Christa needs our help more than ever. We are calling on the local community to join us in raising awareness and assisting in the search for Jonathon. Additionally, we are seeking support for printing posters and flyers to spread the word about Jonathon’s disappearance. Any donations for these materials would be greatly appreciated and will significantly aid in bringing Jonathon home.
Every share, every flyer, and every prayer counts. Let’s come together as a community to support Christa and her family during this challenging time. If you have any information about Jonathon’s whereabouts or can assist with printing posters, please contact the San Antonio Police Department or reach out to LEAWS.
